    Stacker build

This is all I’ve got that’s new. They are pretty much at a stand still now waiting on the lift and awning. They both should show up next week.  if all goes well I will be heading down to Cali the following weekend for pickup. 🤞 If so it will have taken about 10 weeks from deposit to pickup...

    Stacker build

Got a few more goodies installed. Winch for brining in cars is mounted. Ladder is mounted and the access is trimmed out. Sink is in and plumbed. And the trailer looks mighty sexy if I don’t say so myself!

They got the led lights swapped out with black bezels, looks lots better! They got the rear taillights installed as well as the back door coin flooring installed and the winch operating. If parts show up this should be ready shortly!

Interior work being done. Lower 36” of walls getting plywood and carpet. Cabinets being built. Coin floor down.  I told them to plan a simple stereo with a sub as I like some tunes but don’t need my neighbors to hear.. from the looks of the amps in the first picture they took it a little more...

    Stacker build

A few updated exterior photos. Exterior trim is all installed. Looks like the fuel station is done as well. I can’t tell from the pics how it’s setup but it is done off a quick disconnect. I had this on my last trailer as well and didn’t mind it. But I may modify it into a reel just inside...

And now you are all caught up to what pictures I have. These are from a week ago. It took 5 weeks to get from deposit to here. Trailer should be ready about the end of the month for pickup.. barring any issues with getting parts. I have a couple concerns that will need to be addressed.  First...

    Stacker build

Interior is getting insulated and primed. I went with as large of a loft as I could with still leaving room in front of the lift. I was going to go a different interior color but figure i prefer the brightness of white inside more than the looks. The lower 36” of the walls will be done with...

    Stacker build

Trailer is fully skinned on the exterior. They are cutting the trim pieces to fit prior to removal for paint. I am doing all black trims. Interior is ready for insulation and aluminum. I’ll likely spend a few nights in this a season for quick over nighters so having the insulation in it for...

They just about got the exterior fully skinned, and started doing stainless. I am doing black trims everywhere, but like the look of polished stainless so I had them run it down the sides. Also decided to do the entire back of the trailer. The dropped skirts are going to look great I think!

    Stacker build

It was a good day to see these photos! Week 4. Roof had been done, which will get a full waterproofing to help with Utah winters (I’ve still got snow at home). Wall skins had started as well, and you can see from the pics that I am doing a drop skirt around the tires.  floors had been...

    Stacker build

Within the first few weeks they had the chassis welded and wires roughly routed, ready for skin. In this picture you can see the front loft, as well as the v nose man door and generator door driver side. I wanted to fit my Honda 3000 permanently in the trailer. Then having some more exterior...

    Stacker build

In two weeks they had the walls mostly tacked up. I went with 3-7k axles. They should handle the weight but will be pushed near their limits.. The trailer is max legal height of 13’6” tall ish. However it is 108” wide so I could have a 104” wide door to fit my 102” Bfd car with paddles on. It...

    Stacker build

Since everyone seems to enjoy build threads, I figured I’d do one of the trailer I have being built.  first a little background to how I come to these guys and what I am building. I already had a loft style stacker trailer that Josh Lepuer (spell?) did a build thread on in the old forum in...

    Snow thread

When it gets deeper than this the little blue tractor gets put away for my old gal. Not uncommon to have 15-20’ snow piles.. in the other picture I get to look at a ski resort while I freeze working in it.. ok so not cool but still snow related.. Ive been a snowmobiler for all my adult life…...
