How was your weekend and Have a blessed day ahead

Hope the golf tourney continues, I want to make it back one of these years! Took my older boy to superstition to give the wife a break(well, a break from the toddler, she still had the 10 month old). SxS ride to trestles and his first time riding his ATC70 by himself.

    9mm semi handgun choices

Bought a CZ SP01 a few years back and honestly did not like it at first. Polished the trigger and liked it a little more, that turned into a full Cajun setup, and I absolutely love it now. Also have an HK P2000sk, I like it well enough but it’s more setup as a carry gun with the LEM trigger. I...

    Generators

I don’t know if it’s changed with the CO alarms but my opinion is Honda is the best in portable power if you can afford it. I was going to suggest a Honda EU7000i until you said 8kw or bigger. My parents have had a eu6500i Honda (pre CO alarm) since 2007 and it’s been rock solid and very quiet...

I’ll be in Ogilby, hopefully it’s quiet there. Trying to avoid the crowds.

    Upgrading Honda 250 ex’s.

    300ex is manual clutch.

    Upgrading Honda 250 ex’s.

I think any upgrade options for 250ex are limited and futile unless you just like wrenching for the sake of fun. I’d probably switch him to a Raptor 250, or look out for a Honda 300ex. The 300ex’s are easy to ride and have reverse but physically smaller and not as powerful as a 400.

    Hot Ones

Haven’t tried that one but I have tried Da Bomb. It’s pretty vile, doesn’t even have good flavor just pain.

What tires is everyone using on their Toy Hauler?

That’s what I’m using. Haven’t had them long enough to comment on lifespan but they look notably nicer than most trailer tires and seem to tow really nice.

    MacGyver fixes

Buddy broke a UCA on his sand car, only one side of the “V” (with the base of the V being at the spindle). We duct taped a socket halfway inside the tube on one side of the break to sleeve the break, slid the other broken piece over the socket, and used a ratchet strap from spindle to frame to...

Sand rail or SXS or dual sport?

The thing I love with my SxS is the versatility. I can go rock crawling, hard pack desert, trail running, and dunes with 1 machine that easily fits down small trails or in a toy hauler. I’ve transitioned back away from only dunes and remember how much fun the rest or the world is to ride. If I...

Pumper helmet with internal flipdown sunglasses?

I have the internal shield on my Shoei street helmet too. Love it, didn’t know where were any pumper helmets with that feature. I have a Transitions lens on my Bell pumper helmet, it’s nice but sometimes doesn’t react as fast as I’d like. Like when you are in and out of shadows constantly.

It's Saturday Aug 24th 2024.. What is everyone up too this weekend?

Worked yesterday. This morning had to diagnose why the TDI veedub went into limp mode. Easy diagnosis since the bottom of the intercooler was filled with oil so I got a turbo on order.  Rest of the day got to hang out with the family and have a couple drinks.    Pretty sure that’s not...

SOLD 2002 Yamaha WR426 Big Wheel SOLD

I’ve only ridden it a little in the sand. I seem to remember it was better for lower to moderate speed riding, and got a little squirrelly when pushed hard.
