    Derp, yeah. Downshifts are the harder part if you want all of that to be automated. Might be easier to just airshift on upshifts?

    I thought most of the air shift solenoids were in the 100psi range? Most onboard air setups should support that, and any of the kits I've seen road racing had that for air pressure supply. You can also cut spark during shifts. Seems fawking with throttle opening on shifts would result in loss...

    I was talking about the plumbing and complexity. Lots of bouncing around in the dunes, buggies aren't super large, and weight is a killer. :)
