I have 400 ah of battery, and a residential fridge, auto Gen start is set to come on at 50% battery, so 200 ah used. That usually happens every 24 hrs. The .040 gaskets are in stock, but I felt I should do some checking before ordering. Pistons are about .010 out of the hole at TDC, and .026 out of the hole when the piston is rocked, leaving only .014 clearance to the head, cold. That is definitely not enough clearance in my book. So it looks...

I set the comp low cause it's a pump gas motor, the pulley on the blower should be around 10 psi. We will see how it goes. May have to go lower, or switch to race gas or possibly meth injection. Built a vw back in the day, with 14 psi, on pump gas, with a heavy dose of meth injection, but it...

Ok, sounds like I will be leaving it at 9.3:1. The bottom end is already assembled, so no going back now. I'll go with the MLX gasket in a normal thickness.
