How to tighten trans nut?

I replaced those with ARP 12pts metric nuts . Allows plenty of room for a closed box end

I took a regular wrench and ground the box end thinner.

Also get a different nut. The kind with the washer built in. Then the head is smaller.

I ordered some of the nuts that Chopshop used. They should be here Wednesday.

12 point nut is the best way to go.
