It's been about 15 years, 1971-2011, lets see how long this run lasts LOL!! The Love for Mother Glamis is still there, and the imperial Valley dust is still in my lungs! A lot has transpired since my last visit, Toys all gone, house sold, a couple of moves, a divorce, 5 Grand Babies :) and now a new wife. So Good to be back here, hope to see some of you soon, and chat a little bit here. I should be out there in the sand on a quad weekend before Thanksgiving, if everything works out. My old group has all sold everything, and longer in the sport, but I did find one straggler, he is bringing a few with him. Slappy, Miss you Dude!! Where's that honorary flagman invite for the next ellypocroff event.

I used to have that spelling a long time ago LOL!! Did you ever belong to the Looney Duners club? they originated in I believe in El Monte, back in late 60's early 70's? We were part of that. I started going to glamis in 70-71, I was 6 or 7 LOL....But great family sport that I in turn did with my boys when they started riding at 4 & 8. Some of the Royal Old Dudes here remember me I think, ESCO....Slappy, and a few others. Did this site Go away for awhile? It seems everyone joined in 2021?

He's been here with that Screen name for almost 20 years (maybe more?).

Original Site Server crashed.
GD had to be rebuilt and members rejoined.

The site crashed and had to start all new.

Rob and ESCO know who I am and i had that name on original site? I rode the blue Banshee, I was the only one to get that red flagged during elly pocr off race #2 I also drove an orange Sandcars.net same company that built escos ride from Yuma
 
Welcome welcome. I have not been to G since 2011 but still lurk. Haven't sold the quad yet either - still hope to get back out there eventually! Have fun, Im jealous!

I know who you are.

I've been here since 2003, saw both of those Sandcars.net cars get built... and a few more. Jim's product was very popular here.

Never saw a Blue Banshee red flagged at any of the 3/4 EPO's I was at... doesn't mean much other than I came into them later on (2005/2006?). But, there have been blue Banshees posted here, many times.

Point is, Ramsey has been here since the early/mid 2000's with the Looney Duner Screen name. He's a great guy and is no stranger to this Website.

Race #2? Where all the flaggers were drinking beers the whole time, and then hauled ass back to the starting line, when it was their turn to race?

Nope. Never heard of it. 😁
