It's Thanksgiving day 11-27-25.. What are you doing today and this weekend?

I'am starting the weekend what are you doing thread early since its a Holiday.. So what is everyone doing today and this weekend..

For me I really dont know what I am doing T-day is normally Me home alone as I work the day before and day after..

I do want to say I am forever Thankful for GD.com and everyone I have met on this site

My first full Thanksgiving 4 days off....ever.
Just wrapped up silencer packing my daughter's 450. Picture of how much packing was left inside! Then after.
Turkey in the brine and on the Weber around 1pm.
Hoping this time next year I'll be in a bigger house and fill it with friends and/or family.

Ill probably do some website work this weekend I've been putting off.

Cleaned the garage yesterday. So maybe I'll work on a couple projects in there too.

Friday, I'll probably go look for a new street bike helmet.

I'll report back on Sunday night.

The annual week long Glamis trip! Been a hoot! Weather sucked last weekend but it’s been great this week.

Well my wife was at one of our favorite restaurants and they had this huge pumpkin on display “ free pumpkin, ask server”. This thing was 110 pounds and was awkward to lift. We got it the feed to our tortoises and to glean some seeds so we can try to grow one just like it. My daughter had fun cutting it open

Went to the shop Thursday morning to switch out midi excavators. Bought 2 of them totally broken. Been sitting for 10 years. Restore one. Probably did about $8k of repairs to it. It was in bad shape. Rebuilt 6 of the 7 rams. Rebuild the swivel joint ( discontinued) some hoses and 10 pressure washes. Filters and fluid. Then bringing the other one in to do the same thing

After a couple years of not owning a Dog..............We decided to walk to the Shelter Monday and Rescue Maverick. He's in full training mode. Extremely smart dog and won't leave my sight. We're attached at the hip already. Meet Maverick. Peace
