We all know these big triple axle trailers are hard on the suspension and tires. Last weekend I tore off a hanger so now when I fix it I want to upgrade and ensure this doesn’t happen again.

How have you braced your existing hangers? Do I run a square tube from hanger to hanger or do I tie it into the frame as well? Any pics would be super helpful.

I’m going to add this. Both sides of each hanger.

The V metal weld in brace as mentioned and pictured seems to be the popular choice today. I've done the cross brace before and it was fine.
If I was to do this support again, I would do the V brace.

I had to put a 6 pack of leafs under the trailer after the first season with it. Factory was a 4 pack, and the inside of my wheel wells had tire rub marks all over. The 6 pack has helped, but I'm think of adding shock absorbers this summer to try and eliminate the bouncing I am seeing. Has anybody done this? I know a torsion swap would be the ideal way, but just not sure that is in the cards right now. Has anybody done this, and do you have any pics of the finished job.
