These side-by-sides are all designed for exhilarating off-road adventures, but they cater to slightly different preferences. Here's a comparison:

  • Kawasaki Teryx4 H2: The Teryx4 H2 features a 250 horsepower supercharged 999cc inline 4-cylinder engine. It utilizes a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The 2026 model has been redesigned with a focus on delivering smooth and linear acceleration.
  • Polaris RZR Pro R 4: This model offers 225 horsepower from a naturally aspirated 1997cc 4-cylinder ProStar Fury 2.0 engine. It has an automatic PVT transmission.
Suspension and Handling

It utilizes a MaxLink suspension system with 27 inches of usable front travel and 29 inches of usable rear travel. It also features DYNAMIX DV suspension control for adaptable handling.

The best choice ultimately depends on your individual priorities and driving style.

My personal thoughts:
Power to weight ratio is KING in the Sand Dunes, Kawasaki is clearly marketing those numbers and they are the best of these 3. I like build quality of KAW vs BRP / POL, just personal preferences. The JAP MFG are always slow and cautious, this model was worth the wait. Both the PRO R and MAR R are spectacular machines, I'm just a "buy it and own it" for 20 years type of guy and the JAP Mfgs suit me better.

I hope to have a Kawasaki Teryx4 H2 for this season.

Looks promising and it is priced to be competitive in the 4 seat market. The wheelbase at 126" is good. Can't wait to see one in person.

Hopefully they plan on releasing a 2 seater.

Clutching has never been Kawi's strong suit. It will be interesting to see if they have this dialed in, and don't have wear issues. I hope they have a DCT in development.

This game changer is not going to last very long. Polaris is announcing some major updates to the Pro R in early September. They delayed the Pro R 2026 announcement this week until September for this reason. It is a huge announcement, so this claim to fame for the H2 is going to be very sort lived. The Pro R is the Triple Crown winner this past year, the Baja 1000, Dakar, and KOH -- it took them all as a NA machine.

It will be an interesting Dune Season for sure!

1.the lower surface of a room, on which one may walk.
"he dropped the cup and it smashed on the floor"

2.all the rooms or areas on the same level of a building; a story.
"a third-floor apartment"
ahh, i see said the blind man talking to the def man on the telephone.

In this case, hell if i know. But i seen the information online and it has to be true and available for purchase right effing meow!

Thought I read somewhere the way they are rating the engine horsepower on the Kawasaki is different than the others. It'll be interesting to see them line up side by side and hit the gas. I have a krx1000 now which is only a two-seater and terribly underpowered. Looks like now there are three good choices for a four-seater. If I was in the market I would have to look at all three. Pretty amazing from the old rhino days to now.

Oh and I thought I saw a lower model without all the electronics starting at $37,000 and some change.
