I know one helo swepped close at the ledge a while back similar helo. I’m was a dumb move. On other vid I saw if this one it looked like the tail touched too.pretty sure pilot thought it was going good and probably shit his pants as well.

That hill attracts the absolute dumbest of the dumb. Anything with more than two wheels (or none at all in this case) that jumps it is an idiot. There's literally 100 better jumps within a 1/4 mile... but no audience, go figure.

My friend also sent me the video, he was there. It is real.

I would add, this has been on every social media platform, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get a call from FAA, he could lose his license for that stunt.

I know a few pilots who did some of this stuff to fishing boats. Buzzing the crows nest. If you are coming down and pull up you will still sink quite a bit before you start coming back up. They took out the antennas. I know 2 guys who made that mistake. NOT me. One little oopsie and you're dead! I never play around in my bird. This guy is lucky he didn't smack the ground. I don't know about his license but helo's get a lot of leeway compared to airplanes.

What a dumbass rookie. He did not have enought forward speed and when he yanked back on the stick, the nose raised but the lift was almost not enought to get #4800 to lift, probrobly ground effect was his friend today.

At least if you are going to do stupid stuff, put a couple pieces of duck tape over your numbers.

Remember, there are old pilots and bold pilots, but there are very few old, bold pilots!!!
