I don't think it's selective searching when I cite a direct quote from a Republican Senator who was in the meeting that refutes yore assertion. Sorry for using a primary source. In contrast, I'm not sure that this quote from Chris Murphy

Murphy's quote is doing a lot of heavy lifting if it's the only thing being used to imply that Dems urged Zelensky to reject the mineral deal, especially when other reporting sates the opposite. A quick search of "democrats advise zelensky to reject the terms of mineral deal" only pulls up articles that circle back and quote the NY Post op ed.
I should also mention that the Post op ed doesn't even mention that the meeting also contained Republican lawmakers, which seems important and could lead one to think it's author is trying to mislead his audience in order validate his assertions, but YMMV . . .
