The old site had some good references for batteries.  The motor will be a stock J35.  Not a huge radio guy.  See myself with final upgrades of lights up front and rear chasers, couple whips, maybe radio.  So nothing too extreme. I seem to remember the Odyssey PC680 was a good option.  Thoughts?

FWIW, this is what I use for my LS.  390 HP, pump gas motor.  its cranked the motor over every time (except for the time it died.  LOL).  they had this one in stock @ Gilmores.

I run the 680 it does do the job pretty good but when i stop and my car is 200 or up it will have to cool for a couple minutes before i can attempt to restart it.But when its cooler than that its pretty good about turning over.I might go with the 925 if i can fit it or may have to relocate it.Might give me some welding to do and a little project.I know others who have gone to the 925 and its been great we ran one in old dragboat i drove and it spun that engine over fast of course hi torque starter but also a 15-1 compression pro gas type engine too.

Earth-X and never look back.  You won't have to.  For at least 10 years.  Maybe more.

Total Power...lasted a solid 8 years. Just got a new one. The old one still works just cranks it over a little slow.
Mine gave me symptoms last season by sometimes not having enough voltage to keep the relay engaged on hot starts. This offseason, went to start the buggy for its usual mid-summer warm up and the battery would read 13.2v, but as soon as any load was put on it, 8-ish (returning to 12-ish after sitting for a bit).  I think one of the cells has almost no output now.  Oh well, owes me nothing since I've been giving it a hot supper for the last 6 years.
