California 2026 Fuel Prices

Wait till next year.... with the refineries closing....it's going to kill CA's economy....can't wait to get the F out.

So, who has a great mpg commuter and what's been good/shitty about it? :ROFLMAO:

I have a 2016 Civic LX that gets 30 mpg around town, almost 40 highway (maybe more, it’s been a while since freeway use). Basic Civic.

VERY comfortable to drive.

Easy to add an audio system as the head unit doesn’t control main functions.

-Paint issues
-AC issues/recall
-Electronic Parking brake failed very early, cheap fix.
-Electronic fuel door release failed very early, cheap fix.
-Has a CVT. But I’ve put 100k on it, fluid changes as scheduled.
-Window sill/molding/trim pieces disintegrated VERY early, not a cheap fix.

Has run great since the day I bought it, though.

I fill up every 6 weeks or so.

My wife fills up every 10-14 days.

After our grocery store credits, we end up filling up for $1.30 - $1.45 for 89 and $2.20 - $2.60 for '93.

My Daily Driver is our 2005 Honda Pilot - 3.5 V6 and getting about 22 mpg since I'm on the freeway about 80 miles each day. Everything works as good as it can on an 20 year old SUV that has survived 3 kids beating it to shit during their high school years.

2nd Transmission earlier this year, has a 3 year unlimited miles warranty and it will be the last one LOL
The Front Cross Member Sub Frame is skewed/off about an inch in the front driver side - it really needs a new one, eff that. 1 tire goes bad a little quicker then the rest.

About to hit 250k miles probably next week. Still drives like a champ.

You need a new vehicle for your commute, my friend!

My 5.7 liter V8 Tundra gets 20 mpg @ 70 mph.

You deserve better.

I seen Diesel for $319 yesterday in Hellizona.

That Honda will run forever.

87 was $4.29 at the station near my house. I was in AZ this past weekend and I paid about $1.00 less a gallon there.

$3.85 yesterday at Costco.

I wonder if the price delta will be large enough to be worth running to AZ for gas... :ROFLMAO:

I want/miss a truck, I need a commuter.

Prius sucks.

But just about any sedan gets about 40mpg these days.
