Plane owned by Greg Biffle just went down in Florida

Same, at a loss. Never met him, didn't really follow him on social media. Read and seen a lot of his support for the hurricane victims . Knew of his compound in Glamis. Heck even drove his 6x6 for an MLK cleanup weekend.

But this still hit me today. Saddened by the loss of a great guy and his family in this terrible accident.

I met Greg in Glamis. He and his crew had occupied all of Ozbourne overlook. They had 18 wheelers just filled with tools, a blow-up jacuzzi and a water truck among other rigs. I don't follow Nascar so I didn't know who he was (had to be told).

I found him down to earth and friendly.

My oldest did some work for him and Christina. She was a videographer in her previous life and really took to him, they'd even talked about flying him out to film the island buildout. Genuinely nice people. RIP.
 
Greg was from our area and raced locally before hitting the big time. I never met him but know several that had and never heard a bad word about him.
RIP good dude and family. Condolences to the rest of his family for their loss.
 
I met him a few years ago out at his Glamis compound. Awesome place to see the inside of. Would host large party's and gatherings with tons of friends out there. He let me park on his property so I didn't have to buy a pass sometimes. I fixed some of his big green water tanks there and at the glamis store. Super down to earth guy and very friendly. He will be missed!

I met Greg and his girlfriend at the time when he used to race in Fontana when he drove for Roush (16).

He found me because I had a couple 407 JR and he like to rent one when he was in town so he could make day trips to Dumont, Glamis, mountains (snow) etc., back when he had the Roush engine alcohol rail that was stupid fast.

Always fun times hanging with his crowd and when he switched over to SXS, he started to put Z1 2 cyl 2 stoke engines in Wildcat frames and rework the suspension and shocks. He had a couple he brought out to Glamis, and I got to drive one for a day and fell in love with the quickness and suspension.

We worked out a deal for helo use for Wildcat. I think I came out better but always stayed in touch even when he left Roush.

Only saw him because of Cleet’s videos. Dude seemed to always be smiling and happy to see everyone. One of the few famous people I actually feel sad at his passing. RIP Duner and family.
 
The "impossible Turn".......... strikes again. Gonna be a lot of monday morning quarterbacking on this one... Sad.

I was there. lol You went strolling right through Biffle's semi truck trailer! GB didn't have any other cars to go duning with. So we invited him go duning with us. That was a fun run! We all went on a haul ass dune run. Matt did the leading. I was right behind GB. Red car with a NASCAR motor and an Albins with a no lift shift. It was Feb 2012. Matt sent me a pic he took with him. Sad to hear as a fellow pilot. RIP to all who perished.
