Cool or Douche move?

This all will be added up and used against us. Social media look at me isn't helping and I am not about to list all the concerns I have for the same reason.

This generation has no idea what was fought for nor will they fight back when its taken away again. Best we could ask for is the influencers and manufactures to help educate the masses.

100%, we are doomed to keep our free land to recreate in the future.

All these people want to do is go to the spots and get a picture for social media, there a very few true duners out there.

We will only lose our ability to be left alone and self sufficient because folks are acting on their impulsesive desires for an adrenaline hit like a teenager would.

I say it's a douche move to blow up that size of explosive material on public land, near others.
 
Assumed when I saw the pictures that it was deep in BFE somewhere. We felt that at Wash 6 like someone let off a M80 in camp.

But yeah: over the first rise from where EVERYONE camps? Douche canoe. How the fuck do you keep people away from that?

I'd rather it be close camp where people are (supposed to be) going slow, than out in the big dunes, where Some of us like to haul azz?

It's the desert. It's not safe. Everyone should just stay home.

There’s danger, then there’s plain stupid. I’m not talking about the crater, I’m talking about when it went off and where. I don’t think any of us expects to get almost back to camp only for there to be a bunch of dudes frantically waving at you to turn around, then…


I was sitting around the campfire, about 10-11pm, when it happened. Still a lot of traffic out there in the dunes.

We still burn mag blocks at the river, add a leaf blower and super soaker, I wear googles.

I had an old acquaintance do a stretch at Club Fed for hanging out with a bunch of guys who liked to blow shit up in the Desert. While he was just having some fun some of the other guys had more nefarious intentions. When shit went down, he got caught up in the other thing because when the Feds sent in a UC to their Desert Parties, he was one of the guys who had built an IED.

One of the last times I saw him, before the band broke up he asked if I wanted to go shooting with him in the desert, I declined because I had to work that day.

Not sure when the UC was out there, but I sure dodged that bullet.
