No batteries needed! But then you would have to have a retro model for it to bolt on. I think. I've had one for over 40 years sitting in my safe. I need an AR to go with it as soon as I move out of commiefornia.

I have an older tasco rubber armored scope similar model used on the delta.Just aint the delta version as that had integrated rings vs mine.I actually tossed in the trash can a few years back cleaning garage and pulled it back out few days later.Have it back on one fo the Ars and was at range last month.

Guy next to me asked about it took a look at it told me its the japenese made one and worth a few bucks.I told him about throwing it out and taking it back out LOL Seems alot are wanting to build the old classic guns right now and looking for the old stuff.

I bought my ACOG also with green crosshairs because of what you mentioned. Definitely better IMO

I’m going to go to a green dot on my sbr soon too. The new 16 will be irons,the a2 armalit me will stay scoped the colt sp2 will stay iron.

Told wife I get tired of changing confrigutation so it’s easier to just buy new gun. 😂
 
I’ve been running a red dot with a 3x magnifier on my AR15 Upper Assembly for months now and it’s been solid. Quick target pick-up and still holds up to bumps in the truck or getting banged around a bit. Battery lasts forever too, which is one less thing to stress about.

$390. Has a little bit fancier hand gaurd. It is normally $690.
You can get PSA uppers all day long under $300 but they aren’t as nice in my opinion. I have few of those already and a Troy. The Troy is pretty nice but never go on sale and they are $500 plus. I was going to get a BCM. But I have 4 Complete AR’s that I never shoot so no need to get to fancy.
