I'm very aware of shop costs. You shouldn't pay the rate if his work doesn't reflect what the company is known for putting out. If you get sub par work from a shop that has a great reputation, that should be expected and allowed? The shop should meet standards that reflect the Labor rates...

I heavily recommend against giving Richard any of your money. He'll charge you TOP dollar and then have his new guy do the job. You pay for the door it rolls into, not who works on your job. Stay away!
