Can Am launched the 2026 models yesterday. There is now a rock crawl (RC) model trim for the Mav R. Comes with 35" tires, the transmission from the 4 seater with lower gearing, rock crawl modes for the front diff, it has a longer wheelbase than the regular Mav R. 1 year factory warranty as well. Comes with a big price tag too!

It does and the MSRP reflect how bad ass it is at $47K.
Accessories add up fast, i'm sure there are folks that will want it right off the showroom floor in that configuration on the East/South side of the US.

The 1 year Factory Warranty was cool to see, otherwise not a big release year for Can-Am, expected since the MAV R line is still new-ish.

The picture is how it comes for the RC model. No need for many more accessories other than lights and storage stuff. If comes with the winch, bumper, stereo, 35" tires, thicker skid plates, and a bunch of other stuff. Will be over $50K after taxes and fees.

I think Can Am made a great move on the revised 2026 X3 DS model. With the upgrades they did and the lowering the MSRP to 19,995 it puts it in line & spec with the expected to be released CFMoto Z10.

I speculate this was done on purpose, as the lead designer of the original X3 is now at CFMoto, and CFMoto for whatever reason had to hold back the Z10 for a year, giving Can Am the chance to do this and possibly take sales from CFMoto. I still think the fit & finish on the Z10 is much nicer than what is offered on the X3. But Can Am’s reputation alone is a big seller and might be enough to overcome the fit & finish of a CFMoto?

is the dash GPS new?
dude, this right here. I love my 2025 with few exceptions. The single largest is the near unusable interface for the built in GPS. I've spoken with our rep and they are well aware of the garbage system loaded on a beautiful 10.75" touch screen display and an update will eventually be pushed, likely available over wifi. This is my single largest complaint about the vehicle by a factor of 100.

how much longer is the RC model than the regular 2 seater? where do they add the length? more storage?
Longer trailing arms and frame to accommodate the longer transmission from the 4 seater. Storage is still the same.
