Did you purchase those cables from Kartek? Reason I ask is that I used an Identical cable from Kartek and had to change it out every season due to sand getting inside and making the throttle stick. I ended up using the gray cables from pacific customs and had much better luck.

You are corrrect, those cables are from Kartek. What's interesting is this car had a grey push pull throttle cable fail afterless than 1 season last year. However the cable came directly from Control Cables in Santa Fe Spring. They replaced it but couldn't explain or diagnose the reason for the failure.
