It just got done raining so hoping to get dirty/muddy and have limited dust. Going Sunday to Tuesday again at my buddies'/neighbor's pad. We're only taking..
'The Black One' - in my TH
My Suburban and 12' flat bed with my buddies 505 Husky and my daughter's YFZ250 quad. Reason, my Toy Box is getting all the goodies added and won't be ready for at least a week. I'm adding solar, 4 6 volt batteries, lighting inside, winch (they do break.. Polaris, etc.) and an electric tongue jack. Anyhow, that means we can't bring the '14 RZR and 'The Orange One' despite both being in perfect running condition.
As many of you long time off-roaders know it's a BLOODY sin to leave working machines at home (cause the others are likely to break and you have perfectly good machines sitting idle at your house)... has happened to me many many times.
Paranoid about theft as I am, I butted up the flatbed to my TH, flatbed is pad locked to the Suburban and the machines are cable locked. You'd have to pick up the quad over the bed rail unless there's enough room to cut the trailer off and 'jimmy' it away from the Burb. Anyhow, that's my current deal. I didn't insure that quad yet and it's $6,400 (used)...
Looking forward to putting on some serious miles, Arrowhead, Fawn Skin, Crab Flats, Crafts Peak, etc.
YeeHaw!
abc
PS. Saw this sticker on a Tahoo today.. pretty cool to see a Glamis friend, but it's not mine.. I don't put any stickers on my rides.. personally deal.
