When I change up my front yard, I want to do the same and place a pole. Currently mounted to the wood-eve of the roof....but we fly 365 a year.

About 3 flags a year, not as windy up against the foothills, mountain I guess - dunno.

Mine last about 2-3 months. The ones I posted the link for hold up the best. They're thick fabric and triple stitched.

I find that the thick ones last just about as long as the thin ones but they make a shit ton more noise in the wind.

I always have my flag on display, and yes, after the poor quality
of the cheap flags, it's now USA sourced. Six months flying and still no fade.
Yes, Solar lights pointing up, and porch light above both on all night.
