B-52 crash at Edwards Air Force Base in California

GLAMIS WEATHER
Have not heard or seen it on TV. Damn that sucks! Peace

I have no idea if it is related....but, I've read on the Internet (therefore it must be true), that they are re-engineing the B-52s w/a dif engine and testing them at Edwards

From what I read the aircraft with the re-engineered engines won't be ready to fly for a couple more years. This flight was apparently testing new radar I believe.

Unfortunately when you are dealing with an airframe that is older than anyone who is allowed to fly the aircraft you can have issues with it. Most of the B-52's are 60 plus years old.

There are videos. Looks like it took off ok initially, then banked hard right, hard left, then into the ground.

I was shocked at how little there was left of it. No, huge chunks of engines, no landing gear.... nothing but burned ground....

Another 9-11 conspiracy... it didn't really crash, the government just faked it. If it really crashed, there would have been more evidence. No way the engines wouldn't have survived...

(Hopefully everyone read the sarcasm in that reply)

Maybe there qas a reason they filmed it thw way they did, but I didn't really see no wreckage.

Peace

A devastating sight to see the burn marks at Edwards Air Force Base, knowing that eight incredible warriors were aboard that B-52 bomber. Although we don’t yet know all the details, we do know that these heroes gave their lives in the pursuit of upholding the principles of our great nation.
May this crew be remembered as our defenders in the sky — now watching over us with a new set of wings.
