Currently looking to either purchase a turnkey Honda J35a4 Turbocharged Engine with ECU (ideally ready to plug in play) or a kit with the majority of the parts to turbocharge my J35a4.DSC03065.png

Found a complete turbocharged motor and it's at the fabricators now! As soon as the new engine fires up, I will be looking to sell my current engine. Current build is aTim Beadle Built J35a4 with A2 Acura TL type S heads, cam and springs. It is a brand new short block, rebuilt heads, with only 4 weekend sessions. Approx 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque on pump gas. Will come turn-key with Polished Tom Face Headers, complete Stock ECU, and I also have a Radiator with dual fans. I'll eventually make a formal post on the correct forum, but just wanted to make a quick note here. Engine currently located in Phoniex, AZ.

Good thing you have room for a larger fuel tank..lol

Guessing you haven't tuned it yet?
Lol! Originally I had an large ice chest rack back there... I was 20 when I built the car and didn't know what i needed. Now I have some appropriate storage behind the seats.

The engine was originally built by Gary Starkey from Gary's Automotive, and although the turbo and engine have been freshened up by another builder, the original tune still runs great! I've only ripped it up and down the street, but it is very strong. Currently tuned on 110 Race Fuel and Wastegaste seems to be set at or just above 8lbs. I will be taking it to a local tuner here in Boise, ID, who can tune the old Motect M48 in Mid August after my trip to St. Anothy's and see what improvements he can make if any. His name is:

I may put this engine pump on gas since it is a built motor, but not sure yet... may also jump stick with 110 for engine safety. I also may increase the boost up to 14-16 lbs. Goal is to get just at or under 500 whp which is the safe max on the Mendeola MD5 (H Pattern) and will be more than enough for my car that weighs in at 1,960 lbs.

As you probably already have seen, you can watch the upgrades from Terry here:

If E85 is readily available near you, skilp race gas. Spend a couple extra bucks on injectors, maybe a pump if needed, and a bigger fuel tank. Turn up the boost. Only look back for roost....

Get the build sheet from Gary. "Built" my not be what you think it is. Rod, pistons, studs..? "Built", or spray paint "built"..
