I have been scammed by a buyer who lives in Lake Elsinore California and Lake Havasu Arizona. I dealt with him through text and phone calls. I live in Las Vegas and he asked if I could drop it off at his friends off road shop locally. I agreed. I drove there and brought the fuel cell. The owner of the store said he didn’t have any cash. He called the buyer and he agreed to pay me by mail. I have bought and sold many items and vehicles on Glamisdunes.com and Screenshot_20260118_115711_Gallery(3).jpgScreenshot_20260118_134627_Messages.jpg Race Dezert and have great success with good people. I felt I was dealing with an honest off road person. The buyer said he installed it in his Ford Bronco. For weeks I waited and texted and called. Still no payment. This the new perfect SCAM?

Thanks. I will look into doing that. I was also trying to shame him on another off road forum but the moderator takes it down. I have never come across someone so blatantly dishonest. It is not a lot of money but it is the point. DONT screw with fellow off roaders. I am in it for the enjoyment and not in it for the business. To anyone I have dealt with in the past here and other websites thank you for being honest.

I hate scammers , but IDK if the shop is the one to be mad at . You mentioned he called the buyer and the buyer agreed to send you the funds . Seems it’s really not the off road shops deal .

I have no interest in either party just my 2 cents

Idk if the perfect new scam… Sounds like you’re dealing with a tweaker. What’s his info and the shop?

His name is Travis Bailey. He has a Ford Bronco. His buddy’s shop is aftermarket — in Las Vegas. I don’t think it’s the business fault that I was scammed. It’s not a lot of money but it’s the fact I lowered the price to give another enthusiast a good deal. So much for my effort!
