Ran into this oldie but goodie learning about C7 injector pumps earlier. Reminds me of driver’s ed class,  way back in the day.

If only this golden guitar riff would break out when I was about to do something stupid!

what happened to yours?  I heard regular oil changes prevent issues?

I had an O-ring fail. It was the one from the head that supplies oil to the pump. Noticed the leak (it was obvious) after a trip. Replaced the O-ring. Did an oil change to make sure I had the correct amount of oil. Next trip out it died on me.
