Never been. I have kids that are all under 12 and want to ride camp. Dirt bikes and small sxs. From Google earth there looks to be a riding area close by. Has anyone stayed there and is the area legally rideable near the campground or do you have to trail out a bit?

Yup stayed there a few times. Think back when it was a KOA property.

Nice to have hook ups and the pool. Not sure if the restaurant is still a thing.

Nice terrain to put around with the kids but it’s pretty rocky in some parts. You can put right out of camp onto plenty of legal riding areas. They say you can go all the way to Glamis but that wasn’t on my ideas. It’s on my to go there again though.

Riding is alright - and you can do it straight from the camp ground. Selling point for us was full hookups, restaurant, cabins for those without campers, and the hot tubs after a day of getting all dusty/dirty riding

We haven’t been in years but we really enjoyed it, ride right of the camp and you can stay down low and ride the desert or hop up the hill into the Chocolate Mountain area you can ride all the way over to I10 if you want, lots of canyons and wash’s in the mountains.restaurant was good when we were there last. Would go back again if we hadn’t changed up our play toys.

I think it's called Glamis North if we're talking about the same place.
There is a ton of riding but its pretty dusty. Take the kids to the bat caves.

Now named Palm Springs RV Park. I believe that off roading from the park is no more due to closures so best to call. Restaurant is closed as well so I am told.
