Many years ago I started a ground up build thread in the old forum. Many members were very helpful as I designed and built my sandrail. I wish that thread still existed and I could wrap it up with this update. It was a long project over many years. In the past few years I was able to do a shakedown run and then had an aluminum body fabricated. I was able to run it briefly last fall on a local mountain road and finally got out to Utah's West desert a couple of weeks ago. Fabrication is finished. Sometime in the future I'll have to tear it all apart for powder coating but I'm going to use it and enjoy it some first. The attached pictures are at the body fabricator's place before I picked it up and at Knolls in Utah's West desert.
