Have a transmission line (hardline/soft line assy) on my wife's Audi that has started leaking at the crimp. Looked at buying a new one. Cheapest I can find is freaking $600 +tax and shipping. That is ridiculous. So before I spent that figured I would see if a hydraulic hose shop could fix it cheaper.

Anyone have have a recommendation on a shop in East County (El Cajon/Lakeside etc).

hose man might be able to cut off flex hose, weld on an aluminum bung and then make two short flex hoses

do you have a factory part number for each hose? i can check with a few of my suppliers

if you don't have part numbers you could pm me with your vehicle plate number

Being that they are low pressure lines with light crimps, you might have better luck at a place that makes A/C hoses.

X2 on Hose Man. They've done a ton of stuff for me over the years.

Solid work. 👍🏼

Try crown performance in vista I have had them make a number of hose and maybe able to do hardliner too but I have had them make a flexible line to replace a hard line
Also van otterloo in San Marcos has an huge inventory a little more expensive but I’m sure cheaper than the dealer

Thanks for the recommendations. I will give Hose Man a Crown a call tomorrow.

OEM PN is 7L8317801F

So Cal Hydraulics is on Olde Hwy 80 by Bongiovannis. They repaired a stabilizer jack on the motorhome for me, and their website says they can do custom hoses. Might be worth a call.

Try Pirtek, They have a location in National City

If someone can't replicate it, but has the crimp dies, you could try having them re-crimp offset (further back/forth) of the original crimp.
