I may have to buy a lawn mower.

They've been dodging raids all week. Made it to the house late yesterday. These guys do Laguna Beach, Pelican hills, Newport etc. most of these areas also have some house under a total rebuild. Ice has been in and out of these areas all last week.

Nope. Not my fight and if I wanted to live in another country I'd go thru the system and laws as outlined.

Our government has stupid rules when it comes to verifying an employee. I'f they provide an SS number, that's all I need. Not my job to verify if it's accurate.
Remember, a social security number is not to be used as an ID. 🤔
 
It's almost 100% white up here in Montana. No issue finding landscapers, hotel workers, dishwashers or laborers. Everyone works, speaks English and doesn't burn the place down.

I sent my landscape engineer to my parents house to trim some trees and stuff, was supposed to be there yesterday, never showed. My mom was concerned he got picked up. I got a text his truck was stolen mid week. Early 1990’s chev, stole the bed and stock wheels, broke window, punched ignition. Good times I guess
 
Strangely, my gardeners crew was one man short this week.
The boss claimed, "He had surgery" and will be off for a few weeks.

I do all of my own yard work... have since I was a kid. 3-5 Green bins on the street, every week. All of the surrounding neighbors use Landscapers and look at me like I'm some kind of Criminal. A few of them have asked me why I don't use the Hispanic guy that rotates through the neighborhood...

"I taught him how to pull weeds (they have roots, you know) when I was 8 years old, that's why. Dude has been working this neighborhood since before Amnesty! Why would I pay someone $35/hour to do shit I taught him as a kid?!"
 
The day I got rid of the Lawnmower was a great day, hated tripping over it all of the time. They don't store well.
