It's been 15 years since last trip to Glamis. I never gave it a thought then . I wasn't very bright. LOL!! How much do I need be concerned today? Will be there last week of February.

It was an issue back then also. It's luck of the draw rather than the rule but I think it pays to be careful and spend a few minutes locking up for the night.

I wouldn't leave a generator unlocked overnight. My car is insured so I don't worry about it. But back before I got the insurance I would block it in with my truck so it didn't roll away.

Lock up your valuable toys. Make it hard for a POS to walk away with what you worked hard to have. Place items nearby and in a manner that you will hear them if they come creeping at night.

Practice the 2A.

Otherwise live life, be happy and shoot their ass for fucking with your happy place, family time.

Good to see you back Fabr, how's the buggy doing? Any updates?

How bad of a problem is it on gecko road campsites? I am thinking of taking an extra sxs and it would be the only thing other than 3- 55 gallon drums of e85 on open trailer while out riding. Should I just leave sxs at home? Any suggestions on securing the drums of fuel? Need I worry about the fuel?

Good to see you back Fabr, how's the buggy doing? Any updates? Buggy is doing fine. I do not use the turbo busa buggy anymore. I built another mid engine car that now has a 427 SB2.2 n/a of approx 800hp with a Fortin S5S. All I need to make me happy. Thanks for asking.
Will be there with 3 others for a week. Been going to St Anthony mostly and we have a couple houses at the little dunes in Oklahoma we frequent. Plenty of dune time.

I don't want to jinx myself but I leave everything out and unlocked. Have never had any issues.

if you have a group yore fine, solo would be a different story.

I did last time there . I guess I'm not that confident now. Where you camp at,I may need to "visit" some night. Just kidding,I hate thieves. One thing about Little Sahara/Oklahoma and StA is the thieves are few and far between.

If it's a sxs sitting in camp, lock it up and pull a wire that would prevent it from being started.
