It's freaking Friday, what did you learn this week?

Another Friday in the books! 

I learned when you drive around in a state truck that all the highway patrol and caltrans people are looking out for you and willing to help you out. Feels like some kind of brotherhood. I also learned that when you pull some overtime for the state, that it takes an additional hour overtime to do the paperwork to explain the overtime..

I learned that yet another week has passed and the engineers at Ford still can't figure out what's wrong with the PTO protocol in the ECM.  It's been 2 months of Fridays....

Learned I've got too many camp chairs.  Unloading 5 and still have more than I need.  

Also learned fresh paint looks better than old paint.

I learned that new employees come excited to work. Show up early and thankful to have a job. Say things like Yes Sir and What else can I do for you? The veterans shake our heads and say....................We'll see what you have after reality hits you in the face. Our job sucks. Peace
