Well this morning starts for me with Going to Get Bloodwork done. My Dr says I have to get it done every 6 months because of the Meds I have to take but Honestly I been blowing it off because of personal things I am going thru i just didnt care.

When I get home I got lots of House chores and go get Propane and finish up the Temp wiring on the SXS for Vets.

Glamis prep.  Take the balast out of the truck, I stall the fuel station. Adjust the rear brakes, check the tires, figure out a blower/fan for cooling. Double check fluids, tpms, etc.  

Load trailer. Adjust brakes on trailer,  grease trailer bearings, make shopping list. 

Still have not mounted the shock on the buggy, need to get that done.  

Replace a couple of shut off valves in the bathrooms.  Visit mom. Walk with wife.  

 
Putting the Desert Tortoise into hibernation.  Then probably keep working on firewood.   Winter is Coming.

**and pickling!  First time with quail eggs

Getting some primer paint on the truck SxS rack.  Hope that it doesn’t rain. Watch some baseball and football. 

 
A round of golf yesterday (and the day before :lol: ) Glamis prep this morning and whisky tasting event this afternoon. Oldest came home late last night and the whole dam fam  is headed to UCSD tomorrow to visit the other one for his birthday :cheers:

 
Taking apart/cleaning the CV's, oil change on the ecotec, oil change on the generator, filling propane, re-stocking TUMS in the toy-hauler bathroom.

 
We watched the Blues Brothers. The first one and the new one. 

Didnt realize it was a car crash movie more than a music movie. 

Which is good because the music sucked. Except for when Bulishi cracks the whip. That part had me laughing.

Wait.  You watched the original Blues Brothers (didn't know there was a remake) and you didnt like it?!  It's a classic and hilarious.  

As usual, I'm confused by your post.

 
Original Blues Brothers was a disappointment. Its a 1980s movie viewed from a 2022 perspective. 

Did i like it? Yes. The ridiculous explosions were funny. I could see it getting funnier. 

Mostly didnt like the music. 

The remake Blues Brothers was pretty bad. I felt embarrassed for them.

Now if you were 10 years old and saw the Blues Brothers when it first came out it would be percieved differently.

I also have blood work to do Friday, so eating clean and drying out so the liver numbers settle down and the Dr. doesn't yell at me. Had to jump start the wife's car at Target, hit the gym. Lame weekend for me.

Those are good. The horrible remake from 1998 makes fun of lighting the cig and tossing the lighter out the window. 

Need to understand being disappointed in a movie is because i wanted to like it more. Especially in the music department. 

I got to think people with the VHS or DVD or now streaming will skip Aretha singing. I would skip all the singing now that ive seen it once. 

I told Laurie its like a bad song from a band you love. I will always listen to the entire song at least one time. After that its skip city.

Turn that sadness into motivation. Start doing pushups next time youre feeling down.  Its a big world out there. Youre a nice handsome guy and would get along with anyone. 

Here is a fact-ish. Name one thing better than new p*$$y? For real....can anyone name something better?

In a way you are primed and ready for extreme happiness. The best it can get. Meeting someone new and feeling that spark.
