It's Saturday April 4th 2026.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Worked on cleaning up the parkway in front of my house and admiring all the trees and bushes planted over the years now that it’s springtime. Working on installing a new fuel pickup tube in my skid steer. The original spot is so hidden you would need to remove either the engine or the pump for access. Going to have to drill a new hole through the wheel well. Eating oranges right off the trees from my avocado and orange grove. First year since planted four years ago for an avocado harvest. Looks like it’s going to happen this year. My wife chicken coop's are full. She has 30 laying hens and 20 more babies. She gets about 2 dozen a day and sells them to neighbors. That’s for starters on sat morning

My Youngest son was finally Home for a weekend so we moved trailers and Trucks and etc Unloaded his RZR out of his toyhauler since its been sitting it the trailer since Vets Weekend. Changed tires on it and moved everything back so the RZR is in the Garage now. Did alittle RC rock crawling in the front Yard and doing Chores around the House.Overthinking everything as usual and trying to find a way to recover from the Huge hit FX just gave me.Trying NOT to Sell Everything we will see

Recovering from too much Moose last night. Easter tomorrow with all of the family.

Early am workout after 10 days off- colonoscopy and other routine testing. Got it all done in one fell swoop to minimize disruption to daily routine. I'm hurting a bit now. It's so much easier to be consistent...ugggh.
Did some minor honey-dos and helped wife pick out new furniture for the family room (I stole most of the old furniture for my man cave/game room).
Now watching Triple 9 on Netflix.
Later, the UFC fights.

Tomorrow: early morning leg/shoulder day then pick up some man cave signs on our way to hit a local flea market or two for more man cave shiz. Then kiddo's baseball team Easter fest.

Making it a sober weekend because I need all the 'ooomppff' for getting back to working out.

Parents fly in on the 14th for a month so I need to get the guest house cleaned up. May do some of that Sunday late afternoon into the evening.

Two minutes on the "Exercycle", pulled a muscle.
Eff that, popped open a beer.
Spent an hour loading a new copy of BSD Unix.
Awaiting Monday when the "Spiral Cut Hams" go on sale.
I do have a chicken in the fridge that was baptized on a rotary device.

What kind of 'Cado? Haas and its hybrids are ready to go in February. Are you just seeing pollinized fruit appearing or have yours been hanging on the tree since last year? Grapping a juicy Washington orange or any ripe citrus off the tree is one of the perks of living here. Gotta love the farm fresh eggs too. Hint: If you have mice, get a "tin cat" style mouse trap and release the mice to the chickens. They are little dinosaurs and will eat the field mice.

Glamis plans changed. Home recovering from a slip and fall. No broken bones just muscle strain.
Prep for Easter and have family over tomorrow.

Cheers
Sorry to hear that, getting old sucks...it happens so fast. Wife took a header for some reason...socks on a wood floor, shoulder has been messed up since....I still make her go to the gym....rope broke when I tried to pull some dead limbs off a tree in bullhead.....hit the ground hard....felt it for a week. Be grateful we can all get up and move around.... Don't let the old man in!

Our neighbor has 6 feral cats and since then mice have not been a problem. The avocados are about 2” long and lots of them. We have haas, Mexicola, reed and maybe a lamb. I agree. Nothing nicer than looking at a cut orange slice — beautiful
