Let’s hear the good bad and ugly about Kingman. I’m liking the difference in weather from Bullhead, Fort Mohave area.

Bansh lives there. Snuff said... 😂

Kingman is pretty busy since it's on the I-40. You do have a fair amount of services and roughly an hour/hour and half from Vegas. I have heard that being on the I-40 brings more riff raff, I can't quantify that though. I did use their hospital not too long ago. Very good service.

Kingman is cooler during the summer and has some cool places to go for food on Beale street (Rickety Crickets, Grand Canyon Brewery). Hualapai mountains are a close cool get away during the summer. If your more offroading and not into boating then Kingman is great. We picked Bullhead because we are on the River with a private community launch ramp. Our boat is on a dock most of the summer. I still work so my commute to Vegas Airport is also alot shorter than Kingman or Havasu. For Hospitals it seems the life flights go to Vegas.

Kingman is like any town it has it ups and downs. Lots of homeless because of the I40. Your dollar seems to go pretty far when looking at houses. There are a few decent places to eat. I can tell you the wind blows harder here than anyplace else I have ever lived lol.

Been here since the end of August. Reminds me a lot of East County San Diego where I lived for 48 years. Similar to Santee.
Very small. You can drive anywhere across Kingman in 15min.
People are really nice. Tons of off-roaders. Kinda white trashy but in a good way. Working class.
Got an oldtown/downtown with some restaurants and shops. Assortments throughout the city. No mall or department stores though.
Seems to be a lot of vagrants but not a homeless scene you see in cities. I have not seen a tent anywhere in town. I assume most stay in a halfway house somewhere and get shoved out each morning.
LOTS of old people.
Weather has been awesome. Was warm in August but nothing I wasn't used to. This winter was really mild. Think I saw 31°, one morning. Some wind but I've had way worse out in Campo, CA.
Lots of room to spread out and explore. Great hiking and biking. Hualapai Mountains are 20 min away. Vegas 2 hours away. Laughlin, Havasu and Bullhead less than an hour away.
Plenty of riding and open desert right out your driveway from pretty much anywhere in the city.
Trying to get some friends and family to move out here. I'm a little bored not having my drinking buddies.
We're in escrow on a house right now. Just over 500k that would be 8-900k in SD.
