Anyone have a Suzuki LTZ 400 that they are looking to let go?

There is one on Las Vegas Craig's List, 

I got one for my Daughter for $2500 but put about $1000-$1500 in rims tires and rear plastics, 

I wish i would have spent more for something that was in better shape,  now i have 20 hours plus cash in this bike for my daughter

Thanks for the info, i'm hoping to find something in so cal so I don't have to spend a million dollars in fuel to go get it. HAHA

 
I've had/have a couple 03 z400s. And there have been a few others  in camp over the years. Great machines.  Far better than the 400ex or Raptor 350 in my opinion.

Not 100% positive of the year they switched  but i believe I'd  be looking at 06 or 07 to newer  for the better shocks.

I think it was in 05, reservoir shocks and stroger frame.  I bought an 05 for my wife a couple years ago just to be able to cruse around with the kids but now my oldest daughter has clamed it, so I need another. HAHA

Just trying to get a jump on the season but damn prices are outrageous, I paid $2800 for my wife's 05 pre covid and that was a little high then. I have seen prices for trashed bikes in the $4K.

People will probably be getting pretty hungry about October......hold out for a deal. People aren't buying the overpriced chit no more. Keep your eye on the ones that look good and are for sale. Even check them out if they are close enough and throw out what you want to pay. If they balk, give them your number. I got my first buggy that way. In the end the guy came down 40% and it was probably 2 months after I looked at it. He'd call me every few weeks with a "one time offer, come get it today". He finally hit the right number.

And I agree, great quads. Had 3 of them at one time. Throw a few grand at them and they can get pretty fast :classic_biggrin: . Do nothing to them and they'll keep up fine and go up any dune with the right paddles.

 
Bump, still looking.  Prices have come down a little but damn.

My younger guy (14) is looking to sell his ‘05 LTZ 400, in an effort to upgrade to a 450.  Good shape.  We do the maintenance.  Clean, issue free, Yoshimura exhaust.  He is looking to get $3800.  Let me know if you would like pictures
