Not true...IRS auditors recover more than their salary in taxes.

Auditors talk to people that owe over $100K....they show up w/a lawyer. I didn't know that Maserati made a SUV until I saw one of the lawyer's cars. The person being audited was in a Porsche. After all said and done....the "target" will often say, can I clear this up now....w/a check. You are talking about people that can write a $100K check and not even blink.

They should hire more auditors and agents IMHO...but then, all the agents are working for ICE now.
