Guess I'll be the Debbie Downer in the group on this one. A lot of countries still have Tall Ships that cruise the world which I think is pretty cool. The fact that some young Mexican kids doing some cool shit, dying and getting injured ,is worth joking about seems a little odd to me.

Your compassion and ability to stand outside of the Circle and point fingers, is commendable.

The ship hit the Brooklyn Bridge at 7 mph. The average walking speed of a healthy Human is 4 mph.

The poor souls at the top of the masts had 1-2 minutes to move to a lower position from where they were and it appears that they didn't do much in that window of time.

Sometimes the result of "doing cool shit" is dangerous... kinda like running full throttle through the dunes... or on a Wash Road on your Quad. Sometimes axles break and you get Life Flighted out while your buddies watch, most times you don't. I don't think anyone on this website made those "kids" climb those Masts and be a part of something that is clearly not safe... but that's just my simple point of view.
