Hello everyone, I’m sure those of you that own rails remember the feeling you had of buying your first rail. I am ecstatic! I’ve been around rails my entire life, and understand the cost and time investment these cars take, but we all know it’s worth it.

This is my new to me Revenge Racing Silencer. I bought the car in pieces, and with no transmission (which one might argue leaves me with a blank canvas to go big day one).

I’ve had three different close friends/family members that have owned this exact chassis car in the past and have nothing but good things to say about the chassis and suspension.

Do any of you own, or have any of you owned a Silencer or any Revenge Racing cars?

It’ll be a slower road since the next big purchase is a transaxle, and I plan to jump straight to an S4D. The car is currently tabbed for an LS/2D.

Excited to be a part of the forum, and see you guys out at the dunes.

Lastly, does anyone know the story of this car?IMG_6398.jpeg

Thank you, I watched your Funco build from a distance as you were going through the car. You have a beautiful rig.

Thank you. Took a number or roads to get here but I'm happy and blessed.
Can't wait to watch your build.
Keep us updated.

The guy I bought the car from just threw these tires on as rollers, and said they were never actually used on the car. The front tires are way too small. The car will get 17s and 12.5-17 up front and 36-17 out back. These Silencers are big body cars and deserve big tires to drown out the size over everything else. It looks funky with no weight in the rear and the back end sitting so high. It has gear one front hubs and Tatum 930 midboards in the rear.

Justin built these chassis's back in the day.
Suspension will be awesome. That is 1 area that Justin was very good in.
Solid platform to start off with.

My buddy just bought the same setup for his son.

Do you have pictures of the car your buddy bought his son?

Looking forward to watching the build! Welcome to the site!

Nice. Always good to start with a blank slate and build it the way you want.

Will need to upgrade the 930 midboards to 934's if going to an S4D.

I happen to know a transaxle guy when you're ready.
