Old School rails? Anyone use them anymore?

Yep I have the nose cone. No light in it. Wheelie bar would be cool. Especially with some boost.
Wheelie bars are not fun at Glamis, car really needs setup with a wheelie bar as far as shocks with a swing axle. Easier to just run a bit of boost and spin tires.

Planning to bring mine out in march for first time since 2004

I thought my mid 105" wb was cool. Your car is way cooler.

As Hozay said the OSR in march is super fun to see all the Old cars..I stand there for hours handing out Numbers to each car driving in and I grew up with Old school Buggies and hearing a VW engine through a Tri mill exhaust is just music to my ears.I just can't help but smile

my buddy has a ss3 with t tops or easy in tops sitting in storage and hasn't seen daylight for probably 20 years. i've been trying to get it from him. he said when i die you can have it. hell he can't even get in it anymore, but won't sell it. has a one owner quadzilla and a banshee rotting away in his shed in the back yard. a 72 vette on the back porch and a 80 vette his girlfriend wrecked in highschool in his garage he won't part with.

When I was a kid this was the sandrail I dreamed of owning! I’d still like to get one some day it’s really all you need to get around glamis and have a great time!View attachment 165676
here's mine, i redid the whole thing years ago. it sat untouched in my enclosed trailer inside a storage for probably 6 plus years. pulled it out, she fired right up. then i sold it.i was just a tad too tall for it and my head hit the top bar even with the seats dropped as low as they would go. my dream was a sand sprite 6. never got one.

I’ll have to find pics…my first rail was a Brandwood, A-arm car . I believe they were built in Phoenix.
It had an Esslinger Ford in it. Ran great ,but night and day difference when I went to a long travel
