Where is it leaking, are you sure it’s not the vacuum pump front of motor.

First, thank you all for the recommendations. The leak appears to be coming from above and behind the oil filter housing area, from inside the bell housing. I dropped it off today and will let the mechanic figure it out. He will be dropping the trans and go from there. He said it could be a number of things(Rear main, rear cover, upper pan to name a few), but will no more once he's inside.

Care to share ballpark quote they gave you ?  I would recommend replacing lower pan gasket while your at it.
