My daughter and I did a day trip last weekend to a spot i’ve gone to my whole life. We were taking a break during a ride, and its customary that we look around for rocks and petrified wood. I’ve been in this area numerous times but found something i’ve never found in the desert before; pottery. Right next to the pottery we found lots of obsidian stones that had clearly been worked (pieces chipped off) and in the same spot we found a very old skull/skeleton buried in the sand. Appears to be horse or something the teeth chipping from age; it must be VERY old. It reminded me of an article from the 30s or 40s that @JDMeister posted a long long time ago. The gist was; surveyor found an old wagon and skeletons in the dunes back in the 30s. It must have been all the winds we had recently that uncovered these things
