Just picked up a 2000 National Tradewinds. It came complete with a solar system I cant figure out. It has over 1k in panels, 2k(Freedom 20) inverter/charger and 2- 12v 350ah lipo's. Yet the only thing seems to work off the inverter is the microwave. No TV's etc.
Who can sort out the system for me in the Queen Creek area.

If you have a Xantrex Freedom 20 inverter charger then there are two circuit breakers on the unit itself. Usually one for the microwave and the other for receptacles. If the circuit breakers are on than check that the GFCI receptacle located inside the motorhome is not tripped. The Freedom 20 charger is not compatible with LIPO batteries. Do your coach batteries charge when plugged into shore power or do they charge strictly from your solar MPPT charger?

Seems the breakers are in on the inverter. It is a Freedom 20D(See pics). Ill have to check the GFI circuits inside rig.
So your saying the Inverter charger is a no go with the Lipo's. So the charger portion of Freedom 20 is/can not be used and the Solar is doing all the coach battery charging? If I recall, the coach and chassis batteries are being charged even with the solar panel breakers off.
I do know the 2 TV's work with genny running.

Check your GFCIs and reset if tripped. Typically, not every receptacle will be powered by the inverter. The charging algorithm on your 20 D is not compatible with your LIPO batteries. It will charge them but will reduce the life span of the batteries .

I will check them out.
I think im in need of a system check. I need someone who does this stuff professionally. Looking for suggestions

Quite a few recommendations in this thread.

Pete at Main Street RV in Apache Junction is really good at this stuff.
Give his place a call and I'm sure they can get you in for service.

Read that thread. Way outside my skill set. I just need to make sure what I have is safe. I will reach out to these guys. Thanks a bunch. Kevin

So I went over to take another look at the RV today.
-Turns out that the GFI circuit was tripped. Reset that and had 120v in coach. TV's worked etc. Well now I have another issue. Everything wants to run off the inverter, including the A/C's. Started the generator and inverter powered up and started running the entire coach. Eventually Inverter overheated and shut down, shutting down genny too.
-So I tripped the "INV 30 Sub" panel breaker in inside box, restarted the Genny any had 120v in coach and ran both A/C's for quite awhile as I checked system.
-As far as battery charging, i noticed that the chassis SLA batteries was charging at a lower voltage that the coach lifepo's . Not sure what Im looking for again.
-Was quitting for the day and tried bringing in the slide. One side started coming in, but not the other side. Maybe one of the motors took a dump. Think I bought a piece of .....

Thinking more on it. It's probably more likely that the generator was overloaded with both a/c"s and charger/inverter on. It did shut down about same time a inverter shut of "Overloaded". By tripping the inv 30amp circuit, my load fell within the generators capacity.

And I'm told that my slide probably sheared a pin on the rail.....
