Talk to me bitches...

Ok, so...

Done for now.

Stock shocks are oil filled. So I changed the springs on them and thickened up the shock oil. Truck has no bounce in the rear, and just a tiny bit up front. Sits with maybe 4-5mm of sag (at the shock housing).

Went with Injora aluminum frame rails, so I could install the lay down servo, bracket and tie rods to match. All the weight up front is nice and low now.

Brass bead lock wheels add a LOT of weight down low. Had to go with a slightly taller tire, as the stock tire will not fit the bead locks. 🤬

Took out all the brass bushings and replaced em with sealed bearings. I haven't done the trans yet though, gonna wait till something breaks in there, and rebuild it with lower gears at that time.

Replaced the ring and pinion gears with 16 percent lower steel gears. That made a Real nice difference in the rocks. 👍🏼

Replaced the plastic diff covers to add more down low weight. Not much, but it all adds up.

After it was all back together, I spent some time tuning the components, so nothing hits. All the shock mounting points on the new frame rails, made that super easy to do. Was able to get the steering servo positioned so it clears everything too. I didn't have to cut or trim anything. Phew.

This thing will climb over anything it can clear now. I've only tipped it over once with all the mods. Stock it was hard to keep the rubber side down! 🤣

There is a ton more stuff I Could swap out on this thing, but it's pretty capable as it sits.

Any suggestions???
