Bummed that my motoxdad account is no mas pues here I is. Moved out to AZ and the SXS bug has bitten me. I was looking at some used pieces but the new Maverick DS has caught my attention. I’m looking to putt around the desert and explore this place. I found the 2025 Can-Am® Maverick X3 DS Turbo and wondered if anyone has an honest opinion about it. Local dealers are throwing some fat rebates on em and thanks to Crusty sending me a link about the GD Logo I found myself posting.

too narrow for any fast riding. X3 has a very limited bed area to carry any extras.

the x3 needs alot of front bulkhead support, CT Racewerx is best for all of that.

What part of Az did you land in, that would be helpful in giving you a name of a good shop and close places to explore.

I’m in Marana up in an area called San Lucas.
Adrenaline in Casa Grande would be your best bet for a shop that I know of. As far as places to explore, Well Summer it's The Rim/ Forest Lakes, Cinders/ Flagstaff, Lake Mary Area down to Munds Park as well as Crown King.

Summertime place people always forget is to hot and I would not hit is Sedona.

A couple of my old friends are in an Off-Road group and they ride/ camp every few weeks but I am not into the rock crawling type of rides and that is what they end up doing They have tried to get me to go but mud and rocks are not my gig.

For now I’m just looking to explore the desert by the house as I don’t have a tow vehicle. Here’s a map

DS is not bad if you just want to cruise around in the desert. It comes with small tires and you will want to get a bigger tire for desert ridings.

The wider 72" model is much better for the desert.
