To The Moon And Back

Pretty cool, I am old enough to remember a bit of the Apollo missions, and I also grew up next door to JPL, all we talked about in the 70's was space, the moon, Mars and so forth. Cool to see it happening again.

My BIL works at JPL, he is all geeked up over this, shits cool.

My brother used to be an aerospace engineer at TRW and later Northrop. His daughter has 2 masters degrees in engineerig (Cornell for materials science), the University of Manchester in England (mechanical) and a PHD from the School of Civil, Aerospace and Design Engineering from the University of Bristol (also England). To say we are geeked up over this would be a huge understatement.

Lots of talk in my house. My In Laws all work at Northrup and the Dad of the group pretty much taught everyone how things really work, many moons ago over there. Dude has a Machine Shop in his back yard that rivals most Mom and Pop shops here in San Diego.

My oldest grandson bought the license plate "BND4SPC" Bound For Space, and
is an engineer at "Solar Turbines" in San Diego.
My daughter in a "Business Analyst" for "Northrup Grumman" counting
the money, "government taxpayer money".
My middle grandson is an engineer building ROV for the military.
He is actually a "Rocket Scientist" by definition.
Me, I'm turning alcohol to urine daily.
