I.m looking for a UTV tube 26x12x12. Where in Yuma would they have them? Preferably an Ag related tire shop.

I know that Liberty might have one. They also, I expect, would tell me, we dont carry those, but we can have it in a week...and then act like they were doing me a favor and doing a good job.

All tire shops including Discount Tire get their tires delivered to them daily from the major tire distribution warehouses near them like ATD (American Tire Distribution) and NTW (National Tire Wholesale). There's probably other distributors that I don't know about. These warehouses are huge and stock everything tire related (tubes, wheel weights, impact guns, tire tools, wheels, you name it). My local NTW is showing 11 of those tubes in stock for $15 and ATD is $20 (Discount probably pays way less than that because of the volume they do) but I'm in NM and the warehouses are 20-25 miles from me. Yuma tire shops probably have to get their stuff delivered from places like Phoenix and San Diego so they have to be a little more coordinated. I'd go in to Discount and see if you can get them to put one on the truck for you.

The correct tube is obviously the best fit if you have to go that route....but... I have folded up bicycle tubes and stuck them in ATV tires before. It works and you can get them at Walmart. Make sure the inside of the tire and the wheel are clean and put a bunch of baby powder in there. Hardest part is keeping the valve stem from falling in until you get it aired up. Get a cross type valve stem tool and needle nose vise grips from harbor freight. IMG_20260227_103358.jpg

I left 1 thing out of the question...today.

Tomorrow afternoon I.m going home. Welllllll, I called several places. Tractor Supply on 32nd St had 2 dif models. I bought 1 for a Skidsteer and tractor. It was real HD....50 bucks. It was at least 1/4" for both side put together. They also had 2-3 tubes that could be used on an ATV [22" tall)

On Ave B between 1st St.and 32nd St there are at least 4 old fashioned tire shops. Frank's is at the 32St interestection, for the most part. My BIL has had good luck w.them in the past. Therefore...... He put air in my tire and it had a cracked sidewall....hmm, but no (I wasnt in that big of a bind). (the tire was flat on my trailer when I got to Yuma, I assume the cracks were caused by this) .He also had one just like mine (Carlisle/Polaris XTV). He put that on....same deal, cracked.

Then it hit me...I have one of those tires in camp on my "forest-rims." That is what is on my Pioneer now. $22

Afterwards, I called Liberty (whose hours are 9a-?, T-F, are you kidding me?). They said 43and? I didn’t listen closely. But, I.m guessing $44 and not enough change from that to buy 1 piece of bubblegum (43.95).

Well, I stocked up on tea and Vitamin Water and I just got in an evening ride, so, all is good.

As.soon as my BIL gets unloaded, we.re going again.
