What would happen? Update: Bought an AZ Plated CRF450X

I'm not certain on a dirt bike but when I convert out of state Harley's to CA, they need to be Vin verified by either a DMV or CHP verifier.

Might be correct on ohv too. I bought a trx90 for my son from az when I registered it in ca an employee came out to look at the vin. That was it

I was told DMV, CHP and Even AAA Agent (DMV Counter) will verify the VIN pretty quickly, easy. I'll be doing this today hopefully, want to go ride this weekend.

Required Documents & Steps for AZ to CA OHV Transfer:

  • Application for Title or Registration (REG 343): Completed and signed.
  • Proof of Ownership: Your current Arizona Title or Registration.
  • Verification of Vehicle (REG 31): A completed, signed form verifying the VIN and engine number. This can be done by the DMV or a law enforcement officer.

I'm pretty sure AAA won't do it as I tried to get them to do my sand rail. I think they said they only do cars/trucks. Good luck and enjoy the bike.

Take it to a DMV place - Sometimes they are worth it - Get a California plate if at all possible - Don't just settle for an OHV registration - Get the plate - You can get a free tow in pass for glamis - The CA plate gives you a LOT mor options and is better for me when you get tired of it and trade me for an atc 70

Ive used California Registration Services for my out of state atv - it was good
