This is exactly a result of people seeing D or R instead of the three letters that matter: USA.

We've been a chihuahua wagging Godzilla's tail for a while now on these politics. The violence is starting, lawfare, all of it. Yes, the Ds are primarily responsible, but the Rs have been wading into the mud to wrestle with them.

R’s proposed to keep the existing budget going until they could find agreement.. Dems said no. lol

Every vote in Congress is a Party Line vote. It's why we're here. There isn't any reaching across the aisle to accomplish something. No negotiation, nothing.

One side gains power, does whatever they want. The other side blames them for the problems, gains power, does whatever they want. Ad nauseum.

ACA hasn't been repealed.

Immigration hasn't been reformed.

A real actual budget hasn't been passed in decades. Nobody gives an actual fuck what we're doing. No one backs off of their iron rice bowls. We continue this insanity of CRs since 2 decades ago.

The above has increased since 2022 to $38T, AKA the same it took us from 2019-2022, and that includes COVID spending insanity. Before that, it took 8 years to spend that. Before that, 30 years. This isn't a good ride to be on.

The longer we make this a "them" problem and continue to do nothing, the closer we get to becoming the USSR, or Great Britain, or Spain. This isn't a Democrat or Republican problem, it's a Congress problem.

And yet, here we sit, hating Congress:

Back when I was in 3rd grade (1987) I used to be friends with the most prominent Carlsbad Teacher/Coaches son; Brian Robertson. His Dad was Coach Robertson, very well respected and admired by pretty much everyone in North County... and wrote for the Vista Press. Heavy level of integrity.

Two things happened that year; the release of Metroid (August of ’87) and we participated in a class project outlining the Judicial system and how you can Sue people if they have wronged you. We earned cash from various tasks/behavior rewards to buy items with, certain times of the year.

One day, I just got finished drawing a picture of Mother Brain from Metroid. However, at 7/8 years old and being rushed to out to Recess, I mislabed “Brain with BRIAN” and went about my day.

When we got back from Recess, my FRIEND Brian saw the picture and proceeded to tell everyone in the class that I did it on purpose and labeled it with his name, to make fun of him. Not sure how that would have worked on my end, it was just a pic of the real Mother Brain scribbled out, zero relation to him whatsoever.

So… all the Cocksuckers in my class told him to sue me for all of the Play Money I had. All of it. I had a witness that was there who knew it had nothing to do with Brian Robertson. Still, the teacher allowed him to take everything because, “That’s how the system works – if you don’t put the right people into place for judgement”.

I spent the rest of the year exiling him from our friends and even went to his Dad’s house to tell him what a bitch his Son was. His Dad was not impressed, asked him what the fuck his problem was and even his older brother Chris (very respected Teacher at Carlsbad now) told him he was wrong and you don’t do that shit to your friends without talking to them first.

He had ZERO compassion and continued to tell everyone how he got one over on me and that was his fuel… for months.

Not being right, not being wrong. But… that he won.

He has very few friends, to this day. That shit stuck with him like a Scar. That was the day I realized this country was fucked and going down the drain. If that happened to 7/8 year old, I couldn’t imagine what was happening in the real world.

And… here we are. Mrs. Hewitt was a goddamn genius and I think I was the only one that saw how shit really works.

I have no illusions about Social Security lasting. Maybe it will.
Until the last "Change" in Social Security, they were stealing
3/4 of the funds I paid in. They called it "Double Dipping".
WTF? I paid the money, it's fcuking mine. No way to change this.
Fast forward to last year, the federal workers complained about their
payout was not fair due to the double dipping thing. After that, they changed it.
So for 70 years, I paid. Last year they paid me for one year of stolen money.
That's how it is folks, move along, nothing to see here.
(Had they paid me the total amount they purloined, it would be $350,000.00.)

My financial planner told me that a 60+ year zero interest loan (Social Security) to an entity that was Trillions in debt was the core investment in sound financial planning, she got really pissed when I fired her ass.
