Apparently it's not worth 2k as it's been listed for 11 weeks. I would offer $1500 and go from there.

If you have ever restored a bike it adds up fast - 1985 and 1986 are what a lot of people look for because of the water cooled motor BUT Honestly that looks like a great deal for a 250R in beautiful condition. I would nab it and have some fun - I don't think you can go wrong for the $$$

Like @Hondajimz said - maybe get a few bucks off and go enjoy it. The BROTHERS IN 250rs EVENT is coming up soon I believe in Glamis - You would have FUN for sure
