Not sure what year the pan is, was a Super Beetle that we chopped the front end off of. Put  3" pan lift on and the a-arm kit. We drove it around as a Baja for a year, but he wanted more room for grand kids. Since he's a aviation guy who does glass work, he swapped the body for the manx and stretched it. Put in a 2" cage then lost interest... typical story

Pretty open story there VP, but I suspect it's more about getting caught on the juice and losing his high spot of fame. Look at JS7 became a ghost after the juice incidents. At the end when they start to ask about not doing one style/season or the other he claims ALL IN, but come on you can be ALL IN and just do one...

  4. They started doing this in Dumont too.... there are two "Sunset Hills" now.

Back in the day we just called it a dune run and stopped to have a cold one where ever the dune ride took us and noticed the sun going down.

  5. Same just helped my parent move and they have three sets (silver, gold leaf and rose) of china, that they and my grandmother think are worth a mint (because at the time of purchase it was a status item that meant you had money to burn on "fine china"). Sadly none of us kids want any of it.

#1 it doesn't match our décor or usage, we as society no longer sit down for family meals or special occasions that warrant "fine china".

I told my dad why not melt it down and make jewelry out of it, even if it costs to have something made it would be a useful endeavor, maybe...

  6. Got my notice yesterday, woo hoo not bad

    email quoted below

In light of the CA announcement issued June 15, the following is the updated office policy regarding mask wearing, and I will update as any new information is available:

    • Not required for fully vaccinated individuals
    • Not required for those falling under an exception
    • No vaccine verification is being implemented.  Individuals are allowed to ‘self-attest’ that they fall under one of the categories not requiring masks.
    • Optional to continue to wear a mask in the office.

My understanding of the latest guidelines is that masks are still required in certain settings regardless of vaccination status, such as public transit, schools, healthcare settings, state/local correctional facilities, shelters.  Unvaccinated individuals in indoor public settings and public businesses, masks are still required.

The CDPH website contains more information for the current guidelines:

    https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/COVID-19/guidance-for-face-coverings.aspx

The CA Covid website contains additional information for the state guidelines:

    https://covid19.ca.gov/safely-reopening/

And, here is the link to the CDC Guidelines for activities:

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/participate-in-activities.html
